mailVU video email

1. What do I need to become an affiliate?
Nothing, except your desire to be an affiliate! You don't have to be a customer of mailVU to participate in our Affiliate Program, (but we think you'll want to, because it's so cool and a great communication tool!). We even have a 14 Day Free Trial, so you can give it a "test drive"!
You don't even need a website (although having your own website helps). You can promote our product via search engines (Learn how), postings in internet forums, tweeting, posting link on facebook, LinkedIn (Learn how), recording videos (Learn how), or simply email to all your friends and people you know with your affiliate link to our product. An even better way is to use the mailVU video business membership product to promote your mailVU affiliate business! If you have own website, simply talk to your visitors in real time using a tool such as live chat software on your website and send them your affiliate links through chat.
All you need to do is to send a visitor to our site via a special link (called 'affiliate link'), and if he or she buys anything from us, you will get 100% of the first month's sale value! You also earn residual commissions of 15% each month thereafter as long as the customer continues as a paying user of our business service. And it even get's better; we will pay you 5% of any sub-affiliate sales generated by those whom you refer who join the affiliate program!

Those are the results you can get:
2. How do I know I will be paid for my referral?
The program is powered by Post Affiliate Pro, the leading affiliate tracking software. Post Affiliate Pro uses combination of cookies and IP address to track referrals for best possible reliability. When the visitor follows your affiliate link to our site, our affiliate system registers this referral and places cookie on his or her computer. When the visitor pays for the product, affiliate system checks for cookie (if not found, checks for IP address of referral) and credits your account the appropriate commission percentage of the purchase value and recurring sale value.
This process is absolutely automatic. All your referrals will be properly tracked and you can view the metrics of them in your "back office" 24/7.
Post Affiliate Pro is used by thousands of Internet merchants and affiliates world-wide.

3. How is the payment handled?
You can choose if you want to be paid by PayPal, as well as minimum payout value ($50 minimum). We do not support regular checks at the moment.
Payments are issues in US dollars, and are paid once a month, (see details in the Affiliate Agreement).

Before you can start up a business — any business — customers need to be able to find you. On the Internet, your address is your domain name; the part of an Internet address that comes after the www. With the unparalleled growth of the Internet, dot com domain names continue to sell like hotcakes. Currently, there are more than 80 million dot com domains, and over 100 million total domains registered worldwide. Industry experts forecast that more than 500 million domains will be registered in the next ten years. In fact, reliable sources from companies like Intel are predicting that every personal computer in the future will have its own domain name.
In 1998, the dot com craze was beginning to ramp up to unbelievable proportions. So many Internet companies sprouted up in Silicon Valley, and elsewhere, that companies not swept up in the hysteria were thought to be missing out. But, while most people were focused on things like Content, Banner Ads and Bandwidth.

Michael Starr and Alan Ezeir, the CEO and President respectively of Global Domains International, Inc. (GDI), recognized another opportunity that was largely ignored; they wondered, "Besides dot com, are there other extensions that businesses could use as a domain name?"
Mike and Alan were aware that in the mid 1990's, the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) assigned each nation a country code. These codes were designed to give each country an address to use for their own Internet needs. For instance, the United States was assigned .us, Australia .au, Ireland .ie. "We knew that a good, easy-to-remember country code could be marketable globally as a viable alternative to .com," said Alan. "And so," Mike added, "we ordered some pizza, locked ourselves in a room, and went through the entire list of countries to pinpoint the best possible code."

They ultimately focused on the domain extension .WS — which belongs to the tiny island nation of Samoa, deep in the South Pacific. "We thought that the abbreviation .WS could be successfully marketed worldwide as the 'WebSite' top-level domain," said Mike. "There were a small handful of other viable options, but through resolve and perseverance, we found that some countries were already using their domain locally, and not interested in becoming an 'open' or 'global' registry. With a population of less than 200,000 people, Samoa had yet to utilize their domain on a massive scale. And, none of the other countries' domains compared to the potential branding power of .WS to signify 'WebSite'. After all," Mike happily exclaimed, "everyone in the free world knows what a web site is!"

Celebrate Opportunity

As entrepreneurs and business owners, it's incredibly important for us to stay attune to the world's financial news. The recognition of trends, niche opportunities and the anticipation of economic movements are nothing short of necessities. However I personally, and I'm sure this resonates with the majority of you reading this, have grown tired of the incessant negativity that is spoon fed the masses daily.
Yes, things are precarious, and there is no definitive, singular resolution for the mess we have found ourselves in. But what I propose is that we begin to shift this doomsday, limiting perspective into one that actually celebrates the opportunities this "calamity" has presented. The reality of the situation is that the structure of our larger global system was flawed, and needed massive renovation. Would we have preferred it happened differently? Of course we would. The painful byproducts of corporate irresponsibility, imperialist arrogance and simple greed have touched us all in some manner.
But the momentum has begun, and is ready to be harnessed. We exist in an age where the dissemination of information has created a more democratic and equitable platform for global progress than ever before. Not just in the limiting sense of more consumerism, but more comprehensively as real as humanistic responsibility. Of course there will always be classes of wealth, I do not argue against that. But I would argue that they do not have to ignore the principles of mutual benefit. We all can prosper. It does not have to come at the expense of another human being.
The days of corporate monopolies, disguised as mergers, strategic acquisitions and the like are over. Commercial banking is dead. The days of building business on bricks of debt and the mortar of creative financing are over. I personally could go the rest of my life without hearing the word "derivative" ever again! So where does this leave us? Exactly where we should be, reliant on ourselves.
Strangely, no one really discusses with as much fervor about how bad things are what actually pulled us from the first depression, or the recession of 2001: entrepreneurs. Innovation. Risk takers. Half of our current Fortune 500 companies were started during a recession. What does this tell us? Well for one, sometimes it takes somebody skinning their knees a bit to get them stand up and do something different. Two, as the old adage goes; "every problem is an opportunity in disguise."
This is a new chapter in a global marketplace. How we choose to approach this next chapter will determine its shape. Fear and unrest, or excitement and positivity.
I choose the latter.
